This page explains the rules for using the Blue Zadar website and booking boat trips, tours and activities in the Zadar area.

1. General provisions
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website bluezadar.com and the booking of boat trips, tours and activities in the Zadar area in Croatia offered under the Blue Zadar brand.
The Website is owned and the customer service is provided by Monika Drążkowska - Blue Zadar, correspondence address: ul. Branka Vodnika 5, 23000 Zadar, Croatia, e-mail: hello@bluezadar.com, phone: +385 98 951 4000.
Blue Zadar cooperates with local partners and operators in Croatia, such as boat companies, transport providers and local tour operators, who perform some of the services presented on the Website.
By using the Website and making a booking, the customer accepts these Terms & Conditions.
2. Definitions
- Website - the website available at bluezadar.com.
- Customer - any natural person, legal person or organisational unit making a booking via the Website or by e-mail or phone.
- Consumer - a Customer who is a consumer within the meaning of applicable Polish law, that is a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.
- Service - a boat trip, tour, activity or other travel service presented on the Website.
- Local Operator - a partner in Croatia cooperating with Blue Zadar and delivering the Service on site.
- Booking System - the online Bókun system used to handle online bookings, including payments and confirmations.
3. Scope of services
The Website showcases selected, personally curated and verified boat trips, tours and experiences in the Zadar region.
A detailed description of each Service, including itinerary, duration, meeting point, price, what is included and any minimum number of participants, is provided on the relevant page or in the booking panel.
The information on the Website does not constitute a binding offer under civil law, but an invitation to make an offer. A contract is concluded when the booking is confirmed by Blue Zadar or the Local Operator.
4. Booking process
Bookings can be made:
- via the booking form or widget on the Website, integrated with the Bókun Booking System,
- by e-mail or phone using the contact details provided on the Website.
Data and confirmation
When completing the booking form, the Customer provides the required data, including name, contact details, number of participants and selected date.
After submitting the booking, the Customer receives a booking confirmation sent to the provided e-mail address. The confirmation may contain additional practical information, such as the exact meeting point, time or what to bring.
For some Services, the booking may be subject to manual availability confirmation by Blue Zadar or the Local Operator. This will be indicated during the booking process.
5. Prices and payments
Prices shown on the Website are gross prices and include the elements specified in the Service description, unless stated otherwise.
Prices may be displayed in euros or another currency. The applicable currency will be visible for each Service or in the Booking System.
Payment may be made online via the Booking System, for example by credit or debit card or other supported methods, or - where indicated - on the spot directly to the Local Operator.
Detailed payment conditions, including deposit, balance and payment deadline, are specified for each Service and in the booking confirmation.
6. Changes and cancellations
The rules for changing the date of the booking or the number of participants depend on the specific Service and the Local Operator's conditions. Such information is provided in the Service description or booking confirmation.
The Customer should notify Blue Zadar of any requested changes or cancellations as soon as possible, by e-mail or phone, quoting the booking number.
Cancellation may be subject to fees in accordance with the conditions presented at the time of booking.
In case of adverse weather or other circumstances beyond control, Blue Zadar or the Local Operator may offer:
- a change of date,
- a modified itinerary,
- a refund if the Service cannot be delivered.
7. Customer obligations
- The Customer must provide truthful and accurate information when making a booking and is responsible for reading the Service description and practical information.
- The Customer must arrive at the meeting point on time, as indicated in the booking confirmation.
- The Customer is responsible for their own behaviour during the Service and for any damage caused by them to the Local Operator or other participants.
- In case of specific health conditions or limitations, for example mobility issues, pregnancy or chronic illnesses, the Customer should inform Blue Zadar before making a booking or immediately after.
8. Liability
- Blue Zadar uses reasonable care in selecting trusted Local Operators and presenting accurate and up-to-date information about the Services.
- The Local Operator is responsible for the correct performance of the Service on site in accordance with local regulations and safety rules.
- Blue Zadar is not liable for events of force majeure, individual decisions of the Customer or damage resulting from the Customer's failure to follow safety instructions provided by the crew or guide.
- For Customers who are not Consumers, the liability of Blue Zadar may be limited to the amount of the price paid for the relevant Service, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Complaints
Complaints regarding the Services may be submitted by e-mail to hello@bluezadar.com or in writing to the correspondence address.
The complaint should include Customer details, booking number, date of the Service and a description of the issue.
Complaints will be processed within a reasonable time, no later than 30 days from receipt of a complete complaint, and the reply will be sent to the Customer's e-mail address.
10. Personal data
The rules for processing personal data are described in the Privacy Policy, and the rules for cookies are described in the Cookie Policy available on the Website.
11. Final provisions
- Any matters not regulated in these Terms & Conditions are governed by Polish law.
- These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time, in particular in case of changes to the offer or applicable law. The current version is always available on the Website.
- Any disputes arising from the provision of services may be resolved amicably, and if no agreement is reached, by the competent common court in Poland, in accordance with applicable law.
